Hello,

ProSelect() API used to select the modelitem in Pro-Toolkit.I would like to have the option for ProSelect()as "Geomerty" samein the Pro-Engineer as a smart filter.I need to produce the same option in Pro-Toolkit .I am trying to use the options in documentation still can not able to get the same in ProSelect() API.

Is there any way to do it.

With regards,

Kishorev,

You can have multiple string filters as the first parameter of ProSelect. For example you can have "edge,edge_end" as your char option[] parameter. This will allow you to select multiple entities. What are you passing today?

Williams,

You are right.I too agree with you.I was not pur my question fully.I have the IGES file it contain large number of closedand open curves in it. I opend my Pro-Engineer with start part and i gone to Insert>Share Data>Form File, I selected the inteneded IGES file into my start part.

When i try to select the curves in the IGES file i set the slection filter under the Pro-Engineer bottom right corner as the "Geomertry" then i could able to select my closed curves easily. This my target exactly i am looking for uisng Pro-Toolkit ProSelect() option to automate the selection.I have to collect the closed curves using ProSelect() API,If i use the "curve" as a string in the first argument it is selecting only individual edges in the closed curve istead of total. If i do in the manual pro-Engineer option as i mentioned above it is taking full closed curve.

I hope i explained my problem.Let me know is it achivevable.

With regards,

Kishore V

Thank you Williams.
