I'm not sure if this is possible, but it's something that just kind of bugs me. It doesn't take too long to fix, but I must fix it every time I start a model.
is there a way to force Pro to start a sketch in a new model such that it doesn't assume that my part is going to be HUGE! I understand that if it's a brand new sketch, Pro dosn't know if I want my part to be 200 or 2 inches in width. The problem is, almost nothing I design is ever larger than about 12 inches square so every single time I create a new part I must first create a sketch that is WAY to large, adjust the dimensions down to a workable level, and then proceed. It'd just save a few moments on every part I create if I could force Pro to accept smaller units for the inital square sketch that I almost always create.
Can this be done or must I continue just drawing a circle, adjusting that dimension to set overall scale, and then deleting the circle to start drawing my real sketch?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Michael
