Shaded Views

Is it possible to generate a shaded view in 2001. I want to display a shaded isometric view of a part.

guess the answers no.

Or have I wordedit wrong, a soid view, like you can generate in solidworks and inventor.

Do you mean shaded view on a drawing?

If it is on a drawing I'm pretty sure the answer is no

yes on a drawing, thought thier might be a way, have tried all the menu options. Can you import a image into a drawing?

You can import an image to a drawing with 'Insert - Object'.
