Hi all,<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Ineed to make a production drawing for an existing part. In the attached I have a square plate with supposedly 1

Ok..since what I got is an imported model, I am not able to see your sequence/list of your features. I've attached a model based on your descriptions. Take a look at it and see if that is what you are trying to do. (I guess you should be able to open WF3 model in WF4)

Hi Anand,

I still have a problem. The definition of the bend is to one side. That makes it so that the dimension of the flange does not equal the measurement for the center of the bend.

When I redefine the fist bend to be both sides, then it fails, the same way mine did. That's when you get areas to unbend that are not just bent in one direction.

Sip, I do understand what you are saying (I think), but for some reasons I don't see that 'both sides' option at all when I tried to redefine the bend feature. I tried creating another bend, still don't see both sides option. Is that a WF4 thing or what?

Well, going by your theory, is the bend line not at .500" from edge, but a bit less (by half the bend radius may be???)? I think I'm a bit lost in here..

I "made" a solution for now.

I went back to my file and in the drawing"doctored" the bend line dimension with @O.

Where the both sides option is: right when you exit sketcher for each of the bends there is a choice one side/both side/other side. you pick one and next you have to choose which side remains fixed. As far as I know that could go all the way back to 2001 or earlier.
