Sheetmetal 45° corner

So i'm making sheetmetal walls, 2" deep with a 1" flange on the back to bolt a cover sheet to. Here is the corner:

As you can see, my 2nd flange has to be shortened as not to overlap the first. Is there a nice way in ProE to cut both flanges so that they just meet @ 45

Another way do do this is to first create square cuts at the corner of the base feature, then add flat or extruded walls, and finally add extend walls
