Sheetmetal Drawing template

Hi there ProE guys!

Today i was trying to create a drawing template with more or less success. This contained a general view 1 projection view and another general view on its 2nd drawing sheet.
I set up this 2nd view to be a Simp. rep since i wanted it to show the "unbended" representation. In order to try the template out i went on one sheet metal model and created the "unbended" representation by excluding the last one - bendback feature.
Some of you may know what happened then... Nothing :) I got the master representation on both the "bended" and "unbended" rep. If i surpressed the last feature then saw that state on my drawing views. Then i tried playing with the bend and band back features and flat pattern...useless.

All day this issue was going thru my head and then back. I know there is a trick but i am unable to find that out.

Many thanks!

You cannot use simplified reps on drawings.

You need to create your flat pattern as an instance of the bent part. Then you can add an additional model to the drawing for the flat state part.

Yes. Both You are absolutely right.
I tried and found useful your techniques.

vlad1979 and looslib: thank you very much!
