Showing cosmetic sketch only in drawing

In my drawing, I would like to have a view where ONLY the cosmetic sketch I have created in my model is visible.

A little background: I have created a cosmetic sketch that uses the model references. Now I would like to dimension this sketch in a drawing, but I cannot remove the model from the drawing. I have tried erasing all of the lines and different layer combinations, but no matter what I do, I cannot remove the outline of the original model.

Does anyone have any suggestions for viewing only a cosmetic sketch?

you couldsavethe sketch while in sketcher and bring it as lines only in a drawing and group them

or start a new part using the same saved sketch and add it to your drawing

Those suggestions would work, but I would lose my original references to the model. In the future, if changes are required to the model, the drawing would not get updated and I would have to do the process over again.
