Showing names of models in a table

Hello colleagues.


We are sometimes producing drawings with multiple models (Models are both true different modelsand also instances of family table). To reduce confusement by other users I want to create a table in a drawing, where all model names are listed, regardelss is this an instance or true differrent model. How can I accomplis this?

You can use the parameter in the table cell of "&model_name". I believe that this will only show the current active model in the drawing only. If you have multiple models being used on the drawing, it will not show all models being used on the drawing.

If you use &model_name in the repeat region it lists the relevant "filename" for each line of the table.

Dell_Boy, i thinck this will only show the list of models used in the drawing. But what about the numbering, just like baloons in an assly, for identifying which drawing is of which model.

Use &rpt.index in the first column of the repeat region to generate the numbers for each line of the table

What about using multiple sheets drawing with multiple models in each sheet and the list in each sheet showing only parts in that particular sheet? We do not need line numbering (&rpt.index).<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

I don't see the aim of what you may be trying to achieve.



Personally, I do not produce drawings of unrelated parts within the
same drawing. My multi-sheet, multi model drawings are typically of a
specific assembly on the first sheet with the sub-components detailed
on subsequent sheets. All the file information is contained in the
table on the first sheet which lists the assembly components in either
a flat or recursive manner.
