shrinkwrap to solid model?

I have a model supplied from a customer that I need to make a mold for and the file is pretty messed up. I have made a copy of the part via shrinkwrap but cannot seem to find a way to solidify it. Is this possible? The original file has many suppressed features, some of which are making it difficult to establish a proper parting line.

it depends what your shrinkwrap file is? I suppose it is surfaces - turn view to wireframe mode, if there are many violet or pink edges, you have surface model. If there are another collor, you should have solid

If the first option is the point, well, then You have to join manually all unclosed patches to make one closed quilt. I do not envy You with this)))
