Simplified Rep in Drawing View

Hello..


I am trying to insert a 2ndsheet on a drawing and the view on this sheet I want to show my "PART" in the "as-cast" state. On the 1st sheet it is shown "as-machined". How do I insert a drawing view and select the simplified rep I saved as the "CAST" version.

Insert a general drawing view and under the View States category, select the rep you would like to display.

In Wildfire 1 + 2, you can't do a simplified view of a part (need family tables instead).


This function is back in Wildfire 3.0.

I posted similar not too long ago... Another option is to make an assembly and use the simp rep in the assembly.

The one more solution is to create family table with different versions of part, and use those instances for creating drawing for cast, machined states.
