We just changed to WF3 from WF2. I can't figure out how to use simplified reps. I am trying to create a rep that does not include any new parts that are added to the assembly. Does anyone have a link that will explain how to use everything new to simplified reps in wf3??
Go into the View Manager. (View, View Manager, Simp Rep Tab, New, Name the Rep). This will pop up the model tree and the Simp Rep Rul dialog box. Choose the Exclude tab and then in the model tree choose the top level assembly. There should be an indication of the default rule. Let me know if this doesn't make sense.
