Skeleton

Hi,

I practised one modeling using skeleton command.Pesonally, I think the most benefits are convenient to modify the profile of your model. Actually, Using datum sketching, you can do the same thing. At the same time, I am not sure what's theintents of Copy/publish Geometry in skeleton.

Any idea? Or any good example?

Thanks in advanced.

happy new year

I suggest you to search and learn about skeleton models and its usage...

with skeleton models you can control what information goes to each part or subskeleton.. to understand exactly what i mean open an old assembly which was made without skeleton models and try to write down all your parts and subassemblies and sketch a diagramm which shows the parent child relationships of all your parts...

...after that create the same assembly and try (with the skeleton modelsusage) to do the same ... the information now is being shared more efficient and someone can easily control the aasembly and even better you don't have to discover the wheel again every time you change a dimension and proe crashes...

Even better result you will have if you use skeleton models in addition with layouts.. try to learn about these two techniques...

Xcad,

Thanks your reply.

Using skeleton, I found more relations between published geometry and copied geometry than without skeleton assembly. That's mean we can easilymodify the skeleton to change what you want.

Actually, I can also sketch some sketchers before modelingand then draw out the sketchers to model.

....use layout or parameter to controll the sketcher's dimensions. That's similar to skeleton. I am wondering is there any other more benefits?

Haha,

I found out some guides to learn this topic. It's useful. Is there anybody need this. If so i will post it here.
