sketch a hexagon easy

1. Sketch a construction circle.

2. skecth a rectangle , taking 2 corners at the points intersecting the circle and dimnesion line.

3. skecth a line starting from the intersection point of ver/horz axis with circle to the intersection point of circle and the dimension line of the circle which will be somewhat easy to draw the hexagon. complete the sketch through 6 points ( 4 int of circle and 2 axis, 2 int of circle and dimension line).



4. Constrain all six sides of the hexagon to be equal length.

5. delete the circle and rectangle.
 
1. Sketch a circle.


2. Hit the selection button, circle is still selected,RMB >toggle construction.


3. Draw six linesintersecting the circle in the rough shape of a hex, make sure thattwoopposing linesare horizontal or vertical.


4. Dimension across the flats, or dimension the diameter of the circle if A/C dim is desired.


5. Constrain the sides to be equal.


6. Adjust the dimension.


7. Done
