When I view the model in shade format, the model is very slow to rotate and pan. When I view the model in wireframe format is much fast. Is there any variable in configuration file that solutionthis problem?. The CPU caracteristic are: P4 2.8Ghz - 1G RAM - CARD VIDEO 64MB. I work in WF2.

Thank you

Are you sure is not the other way around. When in wireframe is slow and in shade is much faster. I don't think there is a way to make it go better. If I have large assemblies I work with simp. reps and is going a bit better, just a bit

I have a P4 3Gh, 2G RAM, 128MB video, and WF2 and for large assemblies when I'm in wireframe it's much slower and in shade also the performace isn't to great.

I know I was a bit disappointed when I switch from 2001 to WF2, exactlyfor this reason. In 2001 it was faster to rotate and pan. And another minus to WF2 is drawing creation for assemblies, in 2001 I was making assembly drawings in no time, and now in WF2 it seams to take longer. Again it's hard to pan in drawing, put ballons etc...

When switching to Wildfire, I had the same problem. I solved this problem by setting the config option "blended_transparency" to "no".

thank you for your reply. I setting the option "blended_transparency" to "no", but there insn't change. When I view the model in preview format, is very fast to rotate and pan, why?
