Smart layers

In my design I work a lot with datum planes, axis, Datum points and I lose a lot time to put them properly under layers. I create planes for xsec, for detailing, a lot of axis for drawings etc.
So what I want to do is to create in start part/asm high definition of layers so later I wouldn't spend so much time to put them (datum planes, points etc) in layers.

I would like to create layer which will be controlled by rule in a way to put in that layer only explicitly names.
Here is example:
I would create layer which is driven by rule to put in only Datum planes which names starts with "xsec". In that case if I have in my model 5 Datum planes which names are Xsec_a, Xsec_b etc that layer will recognize only them and other Datum planes leave out of this layer.

Is this kind of rule regulation possible to create? if so how?
If not, is there anotherway for doing something like that?

Any ides would be welcome

Thanks in advance.

If I understand correctly it goes something like...

Create the layer.
Click the Rules tab.
Click Options, Rules Enabled, Independent and (possibly) Associative.
Click Edit Rules ...
Look for: Feature
Look by: Datum Plane
Name is equal to xsec*
OK

You should see something like
(Name == xsec*) Scope model ... etc.
and it should collect datum planes that satisfy the criteria.
