Hi all,

I am listing here some basic question . pls answer this..

1) I want to make a perfect cone in proe , what is the feature i can use? (other than revolve).

2) I wanna know wat is variable section sweep. Functions of it.

3) In VSS , we are having some basic trajectories (i hope 3 off). wat is the function of each one? (pls in detail, i know there are plenty of stuffs available in this mcad central. but pls reply here!!)

4) In sheetmetal, Wat is the diff between bent, bentback, flatten, Unbent?

5) In sweep feature, we can able sweep perpendicular to selected plane. Is this a limitation or benefit regarding sweep feature?

6) In sheetmetal, We all know about blanking feature, Does it something relate with flatten feature in sheetmetal?.

Thanks

You can do a regular parallel BLEND from a circle to a point.

I'm sure that if you use the Pro/E Help file, you'll be able to figure out these questions (especially # 2 and 4).

For sheetmetal unbend does not take into account the material stretch where flatten does take stretch into account.

neuronex: do you live near any of those road race courses in South Africa?

* Durban street circuit
* Killarney Motor Racing Complex (WPMC), Cape Town
* Kyalami, Gauteng
* Phakisa, Welkom
* Prince George Circuit, East London

Are you sure about that? I thought flatten just unbent all bends at once. I think unbend applies k-factors.

design-engine: We moved offices about 8 months ago to an area within a 5 mile radius of Killarney, so every Friday from about 14:00 we can hear the various vehicles warming up for their weekend races. Killarney Motor Racing Complex (WPMC), Cape Town.
