Spring in Mechanism

Hai Everyone,


I am just a beginer in mechanism analysis. I was trying to create a spring in mechanism. Here I got a doubt. In the spring dialog box, by varying the values of U and Icon Diameter, we can change the way the spring looks in the mechanism. What is the relation between these two and do they (U and Icon diameter) combinedlyeffect the behaviour of the spring in the analysis?
