Hi All,

In fact my requirement is i need to have a spring in both conditios(compressed and free lenght both).what i could be the best way to get both conditions in a single spring model.

I dont have pro/mechnica.

Thank you.

Riyaz.

In fact i did it through family table only, but i am looking for the best way,so that i would not replace the generic by family table.

Could you please be more specific about flexible component?

Thank you,

Hi,

What version of proe are you using.if it is 2001 then you have to go with family table only and if you are using wildfire or above then you have the option of flexible component.I will try to get you a tutorial on Flexible component.

Ankral,

Can you have both the free and the compressed length in drawing in flexible component??.I thought that you can have only free length in drawing. However Mr.Khan has not mentioned anything abt drawing.
