Hi Everyone,
I'm conducting a FEA of a stent in a diseased artery. You may have seen the thread in the Analysis forum. I have been working on the Boston Scientific Wallstent which is a braided design. This analysis is extremely difficult due to the complicated contact regions on the weaved stent outer surface impinging on the plaque surface.
Because of the trouble with the braided stent, I would like to extend my analysis to laser-cut stents as these have more planar radial surfaces. However I'm finding it difficult to get dimensions of the stent geometry of devices on the market. It is carotid artery stents in particular that I am looking at, i.e. Guident's Acculink, Johnson & Johnson's SMART stent or C.R. Bard's Memotherm Flexx stent.
I know it's a big ask, but thought it's worth a try
Thanks
Joanne
