Hi, I'm a fairly new user of Pro-e, and i have a a spline that forms the basis of an extrude that i'm doing. It took awhile to draw, so Idon't want to have toredraw it, but need to stretch it. is there a way to do this? the scale and rotate tool streches on the x and y planes, i just want to stretch on one plane. can anyone help me? thanks in advance,

Phil

create a curve by use edge option

then use warp select the curves and cordinante system when asked

in warp use sculpt tool so that you can stretch the curve in one axis

thank you for your help, it worked. Just out of interest - is there any way to do this in sketcher? I think i have seen people doing this in solidworks's skether window.

Yes.

But it's been bunch of revs since I needed too. Prior to the intent manager's appearance.

The sketch had a sketcher csys in it.

I seem to recall sketching a simple 2 point spline. (endpoints)
Dimensioning the end points.
Modifying the dimensions to their correct values.
adding more points to the file from an ordered text file.
regenerating the sketch and saving it.

The feature being only defined with dimensions to the endpoints could be stretched in the direction of the dimensions. All intermediate points scaled proportionally.
