I am trying to create a drawing of a model that has a particular feature that has many patterned instances. Unfortunately these features cause the drawing to become very overwhelmed when the model is sectioned, as I need it to be. In the sectioned view I do not need the features to show, however I do need the features to show in other views. I am aware that I can create a family table with a model without the feature, but I would also like to create an auxiliary view and detailed view to dimension the features, and would like the auxiliary section arrows to show on the main view.
Is there a way that I can suppress the patterned feature in a single view while leaving it visible in the other views?
Thanks.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have no need for an unsectioned view to put the arrows on, and I do need a sectioned view without the patterned feature to dimenions certain areas.
