Supress Features in Single View

I am trying to create a drawing of a model that has a particular feature that has many patterned instances. Unfortunately these features cause the drawing to become very overwhelmed when the model is sectioned, as I need it to be. In the sectioned view I do not need the features to show, however I do need the features to show in other views. I am aware that I can create a family table with a model without the feature, but I would also like to create an auxiliary view and detailed view to dimension the features, and would like the auxiliary section arrows to show on the main view.

Is there a way that I can suppress the patterned feature in a single view while leaving it visible in the other views?

Thanks.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have no need for an unsectioned view to put the arrows on, and I do need a sectioned view without the patterned feature to dimenions certain areas.

I dont think wildfire2.0 allows simplified representations in part mode. Its only possible in assembly. I dont see any other way apart from creating family tables and making views of different instances. Hope this help,

Unfortunately no. I already know of that way, which was what I was using until I needed a cross section with arrows on the main view which is a different instance. I think I may just need to either hack it and add the arrows myself, or do without them. Unless someone has a better idea.

They do has simplified representation in part mode, you can find it in views manager window.

i have drawed a part use simplify rep, i think it is a good way, do not use family table.

Yes, you can create simp reps it seems in parts, however you cannot use them in drawings based on part models. According to the ProE help file (a highly under-used tool it would seem), you can only add/set simp reps in assembly drawings.

Have you tried taking a picture of the part? You can suppress the features that you don"t want. Then create the view that you want. At this point you can make a pictue of the view. Then go backand create your other views that you desire.

I don't think I quite follow. What do you mean "take a picture"? Hopefully you don't mean take a screenshot and paste it in.

He means snapshot the view (Convert to Draft Entities in WF2). Not something I like to do because that view is no longer associative. Plus you will still have to fake the arrows, I think.
