Surface finish symbols

NCat

New member
I know this has been addresed many times here but I have a different problem.

My model is showing surface finish symbols floating around it and I can't seem to

get rid of them. I can not pick the symbols to add them to layers, and they are no

longer being used in a drawing. The surfaces are long gone but the symbols

remain.

I have also tried to get the symbols back in the drawing to delete from there but

no luck!!!

Thank you for any help with this!

Anyone?????

NCat, you can always resort to sending the part to PTC and have their software gurus write the symbol out for you. Then when you call them back, they will ask you how the symbol got into your file in the first place. Then you could tell them (like I did) if I knew THAT, I would have fixed it myself!

If you change the selection filter to annotation you should be able to select & remove the symbols.

Alternatively, you can make sure that the symbols show up in the model tree (Tree Filters from the Settingsbutton, and select annotation) and select/delete it from the model tree.
