Surfacing challange - mouse LX8

For instance, the surface in red could span across the
mirror plane instead of terminate at the mirror plane.
Then mirror the surfaces that do not intersect the mirror
plane to finish it off. (Result = no split lines on the
mirror plane!)

dear muadib3d,

please upload a zip file of this mouse so that we freshers
can get an idea on "how to model a mouse using surfacing?"

hope u dont mind...

that`s right Nate. Majot Top surfs should be created as single whole surf. It sounds opposite to approach of decreasing the features count and making all as half to mirror at the end.

I remmeber Adam O`hern gave this advise before while modeling B&D VPX Drill based on his design.

regarding uploading the model. Well, this is possible, however so far I take advantage of supporting everybody by pictures and other advices. This way I find best to increae self capabilities reagrding any aspects of modeling.
