surfacing question from ....

I have a question to pose to you guys. One of those questions that a surfacing expert such as myself should know I suppose. I have ignored the option for this long I don't think it significant but here goes...

When connection control points there are three options.

Natural, arc length and piece to piece. I don't know what arc length is.

Now be careful how you answer this question because I am introducing this forum to some students at this moment.

Same here.

Actually, I rarely use boundary blend anymore since I got ISDX.
Internal curves seem like they allow for more control then control
points. But I suppose it has its advantages. Seems to always work
better than style with imported data. Anyway here is what pro/help says:

● Control Points

Arc length is the length along a curve. As best I can tell what the option does (using boundary blend) is it divides the curves so that corresponding length ratios are equal.
