I put 4 pnts in, but I do not know how to utilize them. I know there's the
collector for control points in the dashboard of boundary blend, but I'm not
seeing anything like that in swept blend. Unfortunately, I am specifically
looking for how to this in a swept blend.
The trajectory is on the left side in thefirst pic and on the right side in the2ns pic. I'm good on creating basicswept blends in general.I just don't know how to use sections with different numbers of segments in them. Or to convert something like a circle to having the same number of segmentsas a sqaure, and having the vertices positioned on the section such that the blend doesn't come out all twisted.
To split the circleedit the circle sketch, create two centerlines, and use the Divide an entity at the point of selection tool to divide the circle where the centerlines cross it. The Divide an entity at the point of selection tool is on the same flyout as the trim tool.
To split circel into four segments or entities, use divide tool in sketcher mode keepting same direction of arrow & starting point of circle as in rectangle & before creating sections first create trajectory or guide passing through centre of these sections.
i thin this will b helpful to you. Edited by: sabir001
I thought with VSSes you basically were limited to one cross section shape.
Didn't know you could vary the section that you are sweeping. But I only
know the very basics. Interesting to see it's possible to vary the cross
section shape.
