Swept blend problems

I have a rather simple part, it's basically a round bar bent in 3 dimensions along it's length. It also varies bewteen 2 diameters. Sounds simple enough, but for some reason I can't quite figure out, the diameter gets greater than the largest section diameter and smaller than the smallest section dia. Like it's trying to maintain some sort of tangency. Attached is an image of the part, and I also attached the prt file.


I'd really appreciate some insight into this or if you have another way of modeling this.

I was alarmed by this kind of thing with my first swept blend too. I ended up having to just make several identically sized sections clustered together in order to get it to stay within the bounds I wanted. Others may know better solutions, but this worked for me.
 
Thanks for the input so far. We tried tooling with the blend control, but didn't seem to get anywhere with it. Maybe I need to look at that closer. I just noticed I never atached the part. BTW, this is WF1. We also tried adding more sections, it helped, but not entirely.

Is this what you're after?View attachment 4160With Swept blends the sections tend to get twisted. With sections that are made up of individual lines you have to specify the start point and direction within the sketch.
With your sketch since is was a circle there was no start point to control.
I divided the circle in two, oriented the two points and then made sure the start point was on the same orientation and the same corresponding point in each sketch.
