Can anyone tell me why one end of the blend shown below overshoots the last section in its definition and doesnt seem to start until after the first section in its definition?

additionally, any insight into why what is supposed to be a simple semi-circular notch on the bottomside came out as twisty turny nightmare would also be appreciated (i included file too tho this university computer so i think it educational version)

are the sections exactly same?? I think the notch u made, has start point problem, u did not select same start point on all surfaces?? ur part is not opening here as this I cant check it

wow thanks. Any chance u could explain little about what u did? Why was the blend not matching up with the end sections? I would have thought that if start points were wrong or anything like that then the whole blend would have been twisty turny rather than just the notch.

You can use the blend from boundries (now a button in wildfire 2.0) to select all the curves. Go to the third tab in the dashboard and you will see control points. You will notice that you can add the points in a chosen line in each curve. This will let you pick precisely where each section of the surfacing should go. If you have major problems, try only creating the surfacing between two vertices of each curve independently and than merging the surfaces later. ProE tends to like the added definition, but it is more work on your part!

You have made the part in educational version, so we could not open this

The only and obvious problem in your part is to adjust the start point of each section, if all the start point are not same the resulting profile will be twisty, according to the start point of each section
