table create controlling dimension in dwg

Hi all.


what is the method/procedule to create a table to controlling a part. i have got one part and same model in difference dimension. e.g. depth, height, length and i got several of model is difference dimension, its posible to create a table in a drawing and used the article to link it?

if family table is not the way to do then you can try use layout.


in layout you can add some parameters like depth, height, length and then associate the layout with part.


now if u change te values in layout you get the changes reflected in part.
