Tables- adding row to top of table

Is there a way to add a row to the TOP of the table without having to reposition the table? The default seems to be to add the row and move the table down. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi jfixsen,

when you insert(creat) the table, select the option ascending.

based on your need you can creat your table to grow left ward, right ward, ascending or descending.

But once it's originally created descending, it can only be descending from there on? I just want to add some rows to the top of an existing table with a J-link program.

It sounds like your table was created as ascending if you are having to manually move it down. For a descending table to add a row select near the top border line of the cell.

I guess that the skinny would be that I want to add an ascending row to a table that was created as descending. Is that possible? Once the table is created, you can't get back to the "Table Create" side menu to switch it from one to the other.

Another thing you may want to try is to set the rotation origin of the table. Select the table then right mouse click>Set Rotation Origin and pick a corner of the table to be the fixed corner.
