does anybody have any tips as regards why when i dimension a diameter in proE3 that when i create the pdf the dimension symbol does end up ontop of the first number.

im using adope acrobat version 5,if i upgraded to 7 would it mean stuff like this stopped occuring?

iv notice it when placing txt around my drawing, close to edge it sometimes comes up out of position slightly also.

Have you tried just creating a generic postscript file (.ps) and then convert the .ps to PDF through adobe? That is the way I do it, I find it is more reliable.

Select Print; In the print dialog box select the printer type. I think there is a postscript printer by default. I have a Generic Postscript option I can choose. Check the to file box then un-check the to printer box. that will create a postscript file in your working directory unless you have plot_file_dir config.pro option set. (this option will put all plot files in the specified directory.

After the .ps file is created you should be able to right click on it and select convert to Adobe PDF.

Let me know if you need anything else.
