text follws curve

so far I knew and learned what I asked.


I am trying to make a text line to bend along the curve of the ashtray wall for example. How can I do that?

make a plane which is almost parallel to the sketch you want to write

then do the lettering in that

now offset that surface

use expand feature

go to options and select sketch feature

now define internal sketch

use edge option to select the letters whish you want to carve on the surface

yes when you finished

I have also noticed that the text has to be centered otherwise it will have a weird result, right?

ya it is better you center the text

atleast the text should be with in the surface which u r going to offset
