text projection on cylinder

hi, can we extrude, datum curve projected on cylinder surface(radially), if so, how to do that, send me procedure.

make a sketch of what u want to say, then select ur sketch in and



edit ---> wrap

or

edit --->project



depending on what you want your end result to be u might want to use wrap.

It is not clear as to what you want to achieve. A 2D sketch would help.

I would select Edit > Wrap and then the sketch, otherwise the associativity to the sketch will be lost. Wrap is one of the few edit commands that does not require pre-selection of an item.
