Thicken a part in assembly mode

Hi,


My question regardsa machined partthat is afterward coated witha specific thickness.


I need the part to have the exact machining size. Then, this part mightbe imported in a subassembly and its geometry might reflect the coated part (part + coating thickness)


The function Thicknen and Solididycan beapply but not additional thickness is added on the part.


Is there a way to bypass this?

Create a family table with the dimension in question. One instance, the machined part, and the other the assembled part. You can change the dimension from one instance to the other.
