Thin protrusion - range error

pro_eek

When creating a thin wall protrusion in WF4 (F000), I'm suddenly getting an out of range popup message. Eg want to make wall thickness 1.2mm, but minimum value is 1.4mm.

I can sometimeshowever edit thefeature afterwards to the desired thickness. I haven't changed any config settings, why is this suddenly happening?

What does Info -> Model Size report? Sounds like you're using Relative Accuracy and the model sizehas driven the effective toleranceand 'dynamic range' up. Try reducing the accuracy value or change to Absolute. You may have to go into Insert mode after first feature to do that (and maybe trigger a string of feature failures on regen).

I found this too, since WF4.

Usually I can finalize the feature with a large value for the thickness so that I have to turn it "inside out". Once outside of the feature creation I can change the value to what it should be, regenerate, and go back the edit the feature to turn it right side out. I think it's a bug, but since I've no maintenance any more I've learned to live with it.
