Can anyone help me with creating bolts, with standard threads. I understand understand how to create a helical sweep cut, but not quite sure how to come up with proper thread depth, angle, and pitch values in pro e. I know there are files availableto download on this website, but I want to doit myself. Also, does anyone know a good website with the bolt dimenisons. For cap screws, and standard hex bolts?

Bones;

This is about the most blunt explanation of the UN screw thread profile I've found.

You can look up tables and write if/then relations out the wahzoo, but
about 8 lines of relations with 3 parameters will get some nice dims
for you.

I don't work for them, but these guys have some really handy references
in the screw thread area. I use them a lot, so I've gotta give
them their due:
