hey why dont u set ur self a project, for instance to design a car, a house, a train watever u please, thats what i do.. it gets tough at times but work through it at ur own pace and learn from experiance...you learn and UNDERSTAND more this way
hey lgragavan, all u need is a set of photgraphs or images, correctly scaled showing the three points of view, ull need a top side and front... these will allow u to model accordingly in preportion...these images cn be downloaded from teh net, they are commonly known as blueprints
i was also intrested in mdoenling a car, and teh most suitable software i found was 3d studio max..i strted by setting up planes and placing images and then created a box and added cuts/slices and increased teh number of vertexs etc.. however i found it to b time consuming...but then i remmeberd that PRO-E WILDFIRE IS The MOTHER OF ALL MODELING PACKAGES, so i started to model a car..i realised that it was possible to model a car in terms of solid but the overall appearances wasnt how i expected it to be, so i tried surface modeling, this stuff is great..its the best feature...i love it
ive posted a thread under the name of audi tt, i mean its still not finished but u cn still see, the concept of modeling a car isnt hard, it takes a little bit of time and great patience..but work at it and ull learn every time..if u need a hand give us a shout
Can you please change the subject of your post to something more understandable other than "hi". "Hi" does not convey the message of your topic and is not a useful search item.
