toleranced dimensions in parts mode

hi friends. I am Shaikh Zahid working as Sr. design engineer in Dembla Valves Ltd. Mumbai India. I have a problem in part mode of pro/e.I want to know that is this possible to show the tolerances only on some selected dimensions in a part.(;I mean to say is that after setting the tolerance to 'Yes' in configuration option, all the dimensions of the part come out simultaneously with tolerance displayed on them.Then, again we have to edit back all unwanted toleranced dimensions to their nominal values. Is there someway to provide the tolerance selectively on the desired dimensions instead of displaying all the dimensions simultaneously in part mode.


please guime me if someone has any clue.

I think you have to window select all the dimensions and turn the tolerance off. I wonder if someone else can concur? There would have to be a better workflow.

Try the following:-


There are 2 options in the config.pro relating to tolerances. Set them as


tol_display yes
tol_mode nominal


There is 1 option in the drawing dtl file. Set it as


tol_display yes
