In recently Pro/CABLE workshops top down discussions occur.

Any thoughts when to use shrinkwrap for top down design as opposed to copy geometry? Seams copy geometry is lighter but the PTCu proe cable examples use shrink. Any thoughts for healthy discussions?

I took their online version of the PRO/Cable class and several factors were given to consider. How large the assembly is,the level of detail desired,and the complexity of the harnesswere the main ones.
