trace sketch disappears in assy

Hi,


I have put some sketches in a part using the style feature, "trace sketch". When I assemble the part to an assembly, the style features become invisible. They are visible in the part and are visible in the assy if I activate tha part.


Any ideas what I need to do?


By the way, I found a config option, tracesketch, which I set to yes. It is supposed to make sketch features visible outside of a style feature. That didn't help.

your sketches must be in the same directory where parts and assemblies are...

Trace sketches are not visible in assys. That's one of the enhancements they're touting for WF4.

Seems merging the part in and doing a copy geom don't let it show up either.

Ive had luck doing this by activating the part in assembly mode that has the trace sketch and then editing the style feature to get it to show up in assembly mode. I have been able to get the trace sketch to show up by playing around with that.
