Tracing a picteure

two or three ways.

Use Trace Sketch in ISDX.... if you don't have ISDX then it is off
to plan B

But seriously you should get ISDX!

Plan B: Place using Pro/PHOTORENDER the image on a
wall. Sketch your thing while on a wall.

Plan C: Place the image or sketch onto a flat surface as a decal. (you
can crank up and down the opacity at will)
What city are you in cadfool?

Try using a fill surface of the right overall size and map a texture or decal to it and adjust the single image to the right size and location. You will need to sketch in shaded mode to get the form, but once the sketch is there you are all set.

or even use adobe illustrator and redraw all the lines and insert them in to proe-e using the sketch mode and insert drawing from file, you could also insert a dfx (auto - cad drawing) and then use the existing lines to develop your model

hope it helps!!but

You can also apply an image file like a jpg or gif to a surface as a decal. Articles have been posted in the past detailing this procedure
