transform surf, no copy, Wildfire 2.0

Has anyone had any luck creating a transformed surface that isn't a copy?

Imagine a protruded surface in the shape of a V centered at the intersection of three default datum planes with an axis running directly through the center of the V. In pre-Wildfire days you could do a "feature", "create", transformed surface", "move", "no copy" and pick the axis and tell it 180 degrees and the surface would transform into an upside down V.

In Wildfire it tells me to use "Edit", "copy", "Edit", "paste special" which gives you several combinations to manipulate the transformation. Problem seems to be, none does this without creating a copy. I don't want the copy and I want all children to now be driven by theupside downV. Not from the V that I copied.

The only way I have been able to do this is through the Legacy menus. I can't find anything at PTC support site so I wonder just what is going on. Why would they take that functionality away, or is it just me not being able to find it?

Thanks in advance.
