Trimming curve

New member
I am tyring to trim a curve (split into two seperate curves) using a datum point which lies on the curve. However when I select the original curve and click the trim icon it deletesone of the resultant curves depending on which way the direction arrow is pointing. I want to keep both, any suggestions?

Thanks

There are at least 2 ways to do this. When creating the original curve, divide the segment that you want to split. The second way is to copy the original curve, then trim the new curve forside 1. Make a second copy the original curve, then trim this new curve for side 2.

Even easier, instead of clicking on the arrow that appears on the curve, go down to the dashboard and click the "change direction" arrow twice. Its second choice is to trim the curve and leave both sections there for you!

Select the curve, then go to Edit>Trim

now select the Point, and click on the Icon (Flip between one side, other side, or both sides of trimmed curve to keep). On 2nd click you will get the desired result.
