TRIMMING SURFACES USING TEXT IN WILDFIRE

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO TRIM A SURFACE USING TEXT IN WILDFIRE?IN 2001 IT WAS A MATTER OF SELECTING SURFACE CUT, THEN GO INTO SKETCH MODE AND CREATE THE TEXT ALLOWING YOU TO CUT THE SURFACE SO IT LOOKS LIKE THE TEXT.

LIKE THAT, BUT ONLY WITH THE TEXT ITSELF BEING THE SURFACE. IT IS LIKE CREATING AN OFFSET SURFACE THAT IS USED FOR CREATING TEXT ON AN PART. WE COULD USE DECALS, BUT WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE POSITION AND SIZE SO IT CAN BE DEFINED IN A DRAWING AS TO THE TEXTS POSITION. WE DID A LOT OF IT IN 2001. CREATE - SURFACE - OFFSET (OFFSET DISTANCE WAS .001). THEN CREATE - SURFACE - TRIM. IN THE SKETCH MODE WE USED THE TEXT COMMAND AND CREATED OUR TEXT .

I FORGOT TO SET THE TRIM TO CUT THE OTHER SIDE. THAT IS WHAT WE WANT

THANK YOU VERY MUCH RMATIJA
