I am following a tutorial in WF 3.0 and having a problem creating two holes on a single feature with different surfaces. The instructions call for creating 2 posts on the inside of a cell phone cover as a single feature. The two posts are created as a single feature by sketching from an offset datum and then extruding Thru to Next to the inside cover.
The hole is supposed to be created on the bottom post first (closest post in the pic) by placement on the outside surface of the cover and then copied to the other post. I can creat the first hole on the first post, but I cannot copy it to the second hole on the second post with the different surface. I selected several different copy options without success. I also cannot create the hole an separate feature because I cannot pick on surface (shown in red) as a secondary reference. It this a limitation WF3 where you can't create two holes on a single feature with two surfaces? Or am I doing something else wrong?
