Unactivated parts turn transparent in WF4

Just installed WF4. When activating a part in assembly mode, all other parts turn semi transparent. Anyone knows how to prevent this from happening? Config setting maybe?

I haven't seen this, but I think it's an enhancement to highlight the part you're editing to help prevent accidental external refs. SW does something similar, and I like it.

I would think there'd be an option for disabling it.

OK, I actually dont mind a degree of transparency for the purpose as mentioned by DGS. I dontlike the very feint stippled transparent effect though. You can turn transparency off in View/Display Settings/Model Display/Shade, which then also lose the part colours during highlighting. There is an option between blended or stippled transparent effect, but it doesn't work in the part activating scenario.

Anyway, I think the transparency is cool, but I dont like the rough stippled effect, as it make it hardto seethe part details.
