unbend surface in modelling (help)

dear all,


i've found a difficulty in unbending the surface with a profile in modeling module.. as far as i concerned i do it by rotating the surface to angle. and i've also done it by flattened quilt command also.. but it was the bend with no complex profile and flattened quilt cammand need tangent surface ..so..plz tell me if some body knows about any tutorial or he/she knows how to do it ..plz help me.. m waiting for ur prompt reply.

It can't be unbent without material deformation. UUnbend only works for material that has been formed in one direction only.

but it is necessary to unbend it to make a die....


other wise it would not be ecnomical if i would make it in 2 forming dies with different orientation.


so , if u know ne alternative to that ..plz tell me... im waiting 4 ur suggestions.
 
When i save this file to my computer, its saving as a word file. I dont think you zipped the right file. I've tried it three different ways and they all save as word files.

I was able to open it, but I think it is as was mentiuoned earlier, you need special software for this.

Hi,


This is a guess, that part can be unbend using Xsec option not regular. I think it may work. The part attached is a imported feature i can't able to do that.
