unit conversion difficulty

Is there any method to convert units from 100mm to 100inches or 10in to 10mm?
Because once i change the units the actual dimention value it is converted accordingly.?

System options -> Document Properties -> Units -> and select from "Unit system". Your dimensions will be automaticaly converted.

Scaling change the size accordingly but the orignal sketch doesn't change. i want, when i do scaling for 3D model the respective sketch also scale automatically.

You can use scale for your sketch. See Toolsand find out this.

actually this is a very good option in solid work that when you change the unit, it doesnt change the size. But sometimes, it makes problem. Pro/e is good for this and it always ask what to do, change the size or dimension. Anyway, you can change the unit and scale the part. May we get any good idea after exploring the SolidWorks.
