Universal Joint-help

hi , i am trying to make universal joint mechanism. i've modelled parts. but as i assemble them using pin connections whole assembly becomes rigid. can anybody tell what connections to use and how to make U.Joint?

have you tried substituting at least one pin joint for a bearing? Using all pin joints may be over constraining the model.

dear you had wrongly modelled the cross. The whole assembly , animation, video is attached with correct cross modelling. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

@sunnynanade ur video is cool.. but proE4.0 is not opening files..perhaps u made them in 3.0..so can you upload pictures of model and tell type of connection to give..

i couldnt convert it into earlier versions so i'm sending you iges format files. You can use these to make an assembly of your own.

actually pin connection is making assembly redundant
