use edge / offset edge tools

it's t-4ever a new user to Pro-E and i 'd like to ask about the use edge/ offset edge tools in the sketch toolbar, as its icon is always docked and i can't understand how to enable it or how to use it.


i'm using a tutorials to learn pro-E, but unforuntely there was no clear information about that point

There has to be edges from previously defined geometry present in the part and/or assembly for this tool to become active
