User defined CG and mass

I have a lightweight part that represents an entire engine assembly (from a supplier) and I want to define the location of the center of gravity and apply the mass of the engine at that point. When I calculate the mass properties of the next assembly up I want the engine cg and mass to be represented correctly. Any ideas how I can accomplish this? Thanks.

LightWeight? Like in surface subset shrinkwrap?

We have this and simply model a small solid sphere with a high density. In this way we get the mass and the location of COG correct (just place the sphere in COG).

If your model consists of solid geometry and you want to override, youcanset an alternate mass in WF-series of proe. You do this by setting "Geometry and Parameters" in the (edit --> setup -->) mass props of the model. After this you type in the values in the alternate mass parameters.
